Healthy drinks and shakes are all the rage at the moment, particularly those shakes positioning themselves as a ‘meal alternative’ like Huel, Solo and others.

Being able to successfully mix these ‘meals’ while you’re out and about is crucial to being able to enjoy them and take them at the right times of day. Mixing these drinks hours before you need them though leads to a less than enjoyable experience.

HandyBlend on Kickstarter provides a solution to exactly this problem. It’s a portable microblender, which you can mix your shake in and then drink directly out of.

The innovation of HANDYBLEND revolves around a unique cyclonic action coupled with the SUS304 stainless steel stirring wing. Perfect for blending whilst maintaining portability. The HANDYBLEND has the perfect balance of durability, portability, and efficiency; essential required attributes for the perfect portable blender.

Design

HandyBlend has a powerful motor, and the designers claims it can blend drinks just as well as other conventional ‘powered’ blenders. The tough revolutionary stainless steel stirring blade is one of the secrets to the much lower powered device mixing just as well as its competition.

The Kickstarter campaign is in its early stages, with £2,100 funding out of a required £30,000, but with backing stages starting at just £25, and a final estimated RRP of only £34.99 its not an expensive Kickstarter to back and keep around for when you need it. And if you’re a meal replacement person, that could well be every day!
